How to get Nasu:

sin.jpgBy Shinkansen (bullet train), it takes about one hour from Tokyo Station. There are two types of Shinkansens; the Super Express which makes the fewest stops on a single trip (called the YAMABIKO for the JR East lines) and the Regular Express which stops more frequently (called the AOBA for the JR East lines). Please take the regular Express/AOBA type train and get off at NASU-SHIOBARA station--the gateway to the NASU Plateau. By car, via the Touhoku Expressway, it takes about 2 or 2.5 hours depending upon the traffic in the area.
